Another week of snow

As the weather service predicted we woke up today to the fresh blanket of snow.
AND it keeps coming. Temperature dropped from 36F in the morning to 25F at 1pm.
It is quite beautiful and tranquil picture right now outside. It feels very comfy inside the house-
meatball soup on the stove, raisin bread is rising and I am planning to make latkes this evening.
Just love snow days. My only wish is that kids will be out of school early - I am concerned with the road conditions.
Cody is playing it safe - watching the snow fall from the couch upstairs.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Yarn Along

Remember my secret project I was knitting in September? Well it is finished and on its way to the recipient. I hope my daughter likes it as much as I do. For this shawl I used Tosh Merino Light yarn in Curiosity color
It was real pleasure to work with this yarn and this pattern.
Colors in my photos are a bit off.

For some reason I am reading Astrid Lindgren's books about Emil . I also can not stop looking through Flower/bulbs catalogs. Snow on my backyard already melted, but we are expecting more this week.

Have a great knitting and reading!
