Yarn Along

Right now I am reading M. C. Beaton: Death of a Dreamer

I just love Hamish Macbeth Mysteries.

I started to knit a very warm shawl. I am mixing all kind of different wool yarns. I used to have similar shawl and enjoyed it enormously. So this is the second try. We'll  see how it will go.

Have a great reading and knitting!

In the Garden or too many tomatoes plants

planted too many tomatoes plants this year and the wrong kind. I love cherry tomatoes and grape tomatoes. They are sweet and flavorful and cute. So, this year I planted a lot of them- like gazillion. My husband does not like any tomatoes except the big red ones, the kind of tomatoes you put in the salad or on the burger. I realized my mistake a bit late- I planted heirloom tomatoes in late spring. They are blooming and planning to produce beautiful red tomatoes. BUT for now I have too many grape and cherry tomatoes. I am picking one bowl of tomatoes every single day! The first day it was: "Hooray!  I got some tomatoes!" Now it is :"Does anyone wants some tomatoes?"

Just want to show you the beautiful sky in NM.

Cody really enjoys our new grass. It is drought resistant and needs twice less water then regular one.

My husband is using  manual lawn mover instead electric one. More exercise and saves energy.

Praying for the snow in July.

Got rain instead. Monsoon season.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Summer Fun

Cody playing with robot spider. So much fun to watch him!

My son and I were thinking what to do today. Our swimming classes are over until next month and our other camps did not start yet.

So, we decided to paint T-shirts. I hand dyed  T-shirts with my older kids, but never painted them. It was trickier then I thought.  We both enjoyed the project. Our new toy-Hedgy watched us. ( I bought the same toys for Cody and my little one)

Have a great day!

Vacation, part 4

On our way home we decided to visit Arches National park in Utah.

The temperature was crazy.

I know it called Arches, but I would call them the Stone Giants.
They are magnificent!

We try to give them our own names- so much fun!

The Camel.

My son convinced me to go look at it. I though that  I just take pictures and go back, but he made me go way up to the top.

Of course he did not wait for his mama on the way back! Wait for me!!!

I think it is group of Wizards.
