Yarn Along

My Long Nordic Vest is finally finished. It is nice warm addition for my wardrobe. It is very quick
and pleasant knit.

For some reasons I am mostly reading children's books lately. Me and my youngest one are reading Pollyanna right now. I really love this book!

I am leaving you with one of my favorite flower-Nasturtium.

Have a great knitting and reading!

Autumn

The heat is gone. The weather is perfect- warm during the day and chilly in the morning.
Warm sleepers is our favorite thing this season.

Whole house is full of pumpkins.

Tonight we are expecting our first frost. I picked most of the tomatoes ( well, may be half).
My dog was helping of course! He just loves small red jucy tomatoes!

My tomatoes plants are still blooming and growing. This Summer was really good for them. We did not buy any tomatoes during this Summer at all. Every day I used to pick one bowl of tomatoes.
It is a little slowing now, but we still have plenty.

I hope you are enjoying this Fall just as we are!

Chiky is ready for winter!

In beginning he ask only for a scarf. After that for a sweater. Overalls were my idea.

Now I think he is ready for winter, except he also need a blanket.

Split Rock and Baby Toes

My sister was telling me about unusual plant which looks like rock. I realize it must be some kind of succulent. I really want to see it. Finally I found some succulents called Split Rock and Baby Toes. I confirm with my sister that in fact Split Rock is growing rock plant she was talking about.

My Baby Toes plant starts blooming! What a treat!!!!

Happy gardening!
