Our walk in Sandia Mountains.

The weather was lovely. Walk was pleasant. Everybody enjoyed themselves. Greenery was very welcoming after our brown desert. What a perfect day!
P.S.: Cody thought that we should stay longer.

30th Anniversary and trip to White Sands

On our 30th anniversary we went to White Sands. 

Weather was perfect: 74F and no wind.

I thought that walking without shoes might be easier.

Even that it looks like snow, it is actually very warm sand.

Vacation, part 4

On our way home we decided to visit Arches National park in Utah.

The temperature was crazy.

I know it called Arches, but I would call them the Stone Giants.

They are magnificent!

We try to give them our own names- so much fun!

This is Upper Delicate Arch.

My son convinced me to go look at it. I though that  I just take pictures and go back, but he made me go way up to the top.

Of course he did not wait for his mama on the way back! Wait for me!!!

I think it is group of Wizards.
